furiokid 10 Posted September 30, 2011 Started stripping the G60 tonight to replace the N/S inner cv boot and the N/S gearbox oil seal. Been the told that the gearbox fitted is a CTN gearbox, and the driveshaft flange was bolted on, however the bolt was tight at all, not even sure that it was done up!! The flange is springloaded, so pushed it in and did the bolt up as tight as i could. Anyone else had this?? Also to remove the driveshaft i removed the two bolts that hold the hub to the shock absorber, however the minute i undid them the hub moved. When putting it back together i noticed that when the bolts are refitted, the hub can still be moved back and forth quite easily. Are they meant to be like this so the camber can be adjusted, or has the previous owner fitted the wrong bolts and it should actually be a tight fit? Any help is appreciated
