water pump free wheel pulley

when changing the cambelt today this pulley fell apart in my hands. i peiced it back together best i could but there's a lot of play between the two pulleys and it now 'ticks' when the engine's on. Part is obs from vdub, so has anyone got one? :)

so if i understand right, you swap all the pulleys from the 9a engine, and run just 1 longer auxiliary belt that runs off the crank to drive all ancillaries which will all have single pulleys?

Dude, get a solid pulley from a mk2 or that item that Suuuuuuppeeerrrrcharged mentioned. Don't replace it with another idler pulley. it's a piece of shít.

 

Mine failed on me before and engine overheated to the point that it took 4 hours to limp home about 35 miles.

thanks rod. if rod here have one, ima just weld it as i havnt got much money. anyone indicate where exactly to spot weld? or boost monkey, part number for the solid mk2 pulley? is it just a straight swap?
