A20 LEE 0 Posted March 15, 2004 I'm thinking about buying new front wishbones, has anyone on the forum replaced theirs and able to help with these questions? How much for brand new ones? Wheres the cheapest place for OEM wishbones? Are they available separately? Can you buy them without bushes? (got powerflex) cheers

Supercharged 2 Posted March 16, 2004 just replaced mine, and got 'em from the stealers for £51each side inc VAT, which isnt too bad i reckon Did that include the bushes? - GSF do them with or without the bushes fairly cheaply but not sure of the quality of the bushes. woody 0 Posted March 16, 2004 Changed my wishbones about 6 months ago. £50 for both from the stealers and decided to change all of the old bolts and i-bolts for new ones. Nearly had a sh*t fit when they told me the price was going to total £92. As it was more than half of the bolts had been on the car from new and sheared off unstead of undoing. dr_mat 0 Posted March 20, 2004 GSF do sell the VR6 wishbones, yes, complete with bushes, for about £35 each, IIRC. I don't know if the dealer-supplied wishbones come with bushes or not, no-one has mentioned that so far.. I've heard mixed reports of the GSF wishbone bushes being a bit rubbish.. YMMV.
