vw_john 10 Posted November 3, 2011 Does anyone know how G-max suspension is? on -40mm springs? I have cheap coilovers atm, and need them gone before they shake my c apart.
Critical_Mass 10 Posted November 3, 2011 G-Maxx = budget.
boost monkey 0 Posted November 3, 2011 yeah I think going from cheap coils to cheap suspension kit isn't going to help much. perhaps go back to standard?
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted November 3, 2011 G-Maxx = budget. Yeah they are at the cheaper end of the market it has to be said....
Critical_Mass 10 Posted November 3, 2011 Yeah you could say they're the "no frills" of the suspension world haha. The G-Maxx are the same as the V-Maxx- ive had V-Maxx before and they were cheap for a reason. Crashy and bouncy at the same time. They lasted about 6 months then id had enough. Id advise you not to buy them, but obviously the decision is yours!
vw_john 10 Posted November 4, 2011 Haha, ok. I probably should have just googled it to save the abuse! so from the pictures uploaded am I to believe that KW is a good brand?
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted November 4, 2011 Very good :D I am Mr Uber Fussy when it comes to suspension and so far, only KW have fulfilled my requirements!
Supercharged 2 Posted November 4, 2011 Yep, no point replacing cheap suspension with G-max. If you're on a budget get the KW V1's - they're not great but provide reasonable ride and handling and won't rust like anything cheaper out there
