PCV --> oil breather

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure if my modifications to my PCV are going to hold up so i was wondering whether i should fit an oil breather in its place. The carbon canister had already been deleted before I bought the car and I'd like to keep the air intake as clean as possible. Since the crankcase housing recirculates back into the cold air feed and the pipework from what would have been the carbon canister also goes back into it i think i might benefit from a breather. (The pipework that was added to replace the carbon canister was clear but is now a murky green...)

Would something like this be a suitable replacement?
