Samco / Replacement hose kits for 2.0 16v ?

Hi , does anyone know if there are replacement coolant hose kits available for the 2.0 16v ? I've scoured the forums and various sites and cant seem to find any :scratch:

 

Any help and advice would be great thanks .

Hi scott1980, Not an expert on the valver, but I have been looking for hoses for a while, and remember seeing a discussion thread on this very same subject, just follow the link, and i hope it is of use.

Thanks very much ! I just need to find a metal coolant pipe now before it starts to freeze , theres no water/anti freeze in the engine at the minute , its in a garage but still.....

get some coolent in there asap mate, i learnt the hard way that having only water in the coolent system is a bad idea when 1 of my core plugs rusted a little hole in it and i had to pull the engine out to replace them :(

I'm after a metal coolant pipe , got the part number now , as there is a tiny hole which absolutely p***es water out even when not running . My car's in a small garage at the moment and i'm told that if there is NO water in at all then i'll be fine when it comes to freezing weather ...still wanna get one on tho so i can start it up periodically until after winter (and I get my licence back !)
