Coolant pipe replacement 2.0 16v ...is it as straight forward as it looks ?

After a lot of swearing and awkward arm positions i managed to replace the small pipe connecting the metal coolant pipe to the water pump.....only to find out it wasnt a perished or damaged hose but a corroded coolant pipe . The tiniest hole was just ****ing water out !! Ive ordered a new pipe off fleabay

and looks pretty straightforward , but was wondering if anyone knew of any tips, tricks or pitfalls that i should know ?
