Winter Project

I have taken my 1990 16v off the road and am relying on a good old 1996 RAV4 to get me through the winter!

 

I have made a start on getting everything together and also working on the inetrnal stuff but the list looks daunting!

 

Project Corrado Winter 2011-12

1. Fit Centre Dash with: –

2. a) Auxiliary gauges

3. b) radio repositioned

4. c) polo cup holders

5. d) alarm controls repositioned

6. e) lights on buzzer

7. f) Audi 12v power socket

8. Replace rear disc/pads/wheel bearings

9. Replace Rear Callipers

10. Replace rear disc guards

11. Replace rear axle bushes

12. Replace front cross member and Sub Frame

13. Replace front spoiler grill

14. Fit side skirts

15. Repair rust damaged areas

16. Replace rocker Gasket

17. Replace alternator belt

18. Repair Front Spoiler

19. Change Wipers

20. Change Fuel pump/Accumulator etc.

21. New Wheels

22. Replace Cracked Indicators

23. Dent removal

24. Remove(Replace?) window tint

25. Replace Brake pipes

26. Fit New Rear Lights

27. Replace Mirror Glass

28. Re-spray?

 

I will try and keep a photographic record as things progress

Now it’s full on to get the interior part of the project complete.

Lights on buzzer is working!

The job of repositioning radio to where the ashtray and ciggie lighter etc is complete but left me thinking that I still wanted a power socket so sourced an Audi pop up power socket and with much dremelling have fitted it into the rear ashtray and its working ok.

Now just about ready to reassemble – wish me luck!
