aust 0 Posted January 24, 2012 Hi can anyone help me, I've just broken a camber bolt whilst reassembling my front hub. Can I use a normal M12 bolt and nyloc nut as a replacement or will I need to get one from vw. Cheers.
Supercharged 2 Posted January 24, 2012 Best to get one from VW if you can as they'll be the correct tensile strength (12.9) and don't corrode that easily... Nuts aren't actually nylock but you are meant to renew as they are oval.
16VG60 1 Posted January 24, 2012 More importantly you will require to use the correct specific bolts in this application. The camber bolts have a reduced shank to allow sufficient camber adjustment range. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
