Exhaust rubber

My rear exhaust rubber has split and VW have given me a completely different looking rubber. Can anybody confirm this will fit or do I have the wrong one?

thats the wrong one buddy, thats for the early hook type hanger's..

The one you need has 1H0 at the start of the PN. Don't quote me but from memory might be 1H0253147B

VW NEVER get it right first time. Might try midland VW.

Is this part number: 1H0253147B correct for 2l 16v 1995.

 

I have "Magnex Cat Back - XSVWC6", but when searched for above part number it is showing slightly different rubber design to mine.

He took his to midland vw in the end but it will be the same, he has a 94 valver with a magnex exhuast.

Forgot to report on this one, so doing it now (hopefully it will help someone else too)

 

Part number is: 1H0253147B and in the end I got this part from Midland VW. It was £3.72inc a piece... and this is how it looks new:

ps. Shame to admit this is still not fitted.. but will make it happen this weekend. I think I need to take some time off work, to accomplish all my plans.
