hipcity 10 Posted February 11, 2012 Hi - just had some welding done on the car - Rear drivers side wheel arch. Not sure what has happened or if the cables were not connected correctly - but the windows and mirrors no longer work when the doors are closed? it looks to stop working when the door switch is pushed in - the one that turns of the interior light on/off any ideas - i had a look in the boot and the cables all look ok - i found a fuse box in behind the side panel and a foam box in the boot, but not sure what thet are for
Rams 0 Posted February 11, 2012 Check fuses first, welding may have blown the fuse? Usually you put a safety device onto the battery when welding
Portent 0 Posted February 11, 2012 So if you leave the doors open and don't press the door interior light switch then do the windows and mirrors work?

Also, would you have any idea what the foam box is within the boot, it sits over the fuel funnel, and contains a plastic box? Thanks
