mrcorradog60 10 Posted February 25, 2012 Although im a dedicated crx owner ive always loved corrados. A mate of mine bought this a few months ago and everytime i drove past his house i couldnt help but admire it,by chance one night a couple of weeks ago i bumped into him coming out of tesco and i was asking him about it when he tells me its for sale, Sweet i thought and then he tells me hes only looking 1500quid for it. Holy god i had to have it this thing is mint with loads of history and just a few mods, its even in my favourite colour:) and because i was a mate he even gave it to me for 1400:) now thats a bargain. Its going to be a while before i get a drive tho as i am in a wheelchair and i can only drive automatics using hand controls, im fully aware that it might not be an easy conversion and buying an auto would definitly make more sense but at the price i got this and the fact that it was on my doorstep and even in my favourite colour i couldnt turn it down. I have already sourced most of the parts i think im gonna need and if it doesnt work out worst case scenario il always be able sell up without losing any money, lets hope that doesnt happen tho http://s1252.photobucket.com/albums/hh565/mrcrxvtec/?action=view¤t=mymotors11.jpg http://s1252.photobucket.com/albums/hh565/mrcrxvtec/?action=view¤t=mycorradog60.jpg
VR6 0 Posted February 25, 2012 Looks very nice - I can see why you found it hard to turn down! I would like it more standard - lose the alloys and the eyebrow spoiler etc but that's just personal taste really. And I think now that the herd is starting to thin out a bit, it's nice to see good solid original examples. I would love to see it converted so you can enjoy it for a few years but I think it's a fair old conversion to take on in terms of time and parts. I think I've seen your other threads so I presume you know what's involved now.
