I'm going the Sharan metal gasket route to raise the compression slightly. VW quoted a fair amount for the headbolts: 021 103 384 k (7) - £5.60 ea / £39.20 021 103 384 G (10) - £5.75 ea / £57.50 021 103 384 L (3) - 7.96 ea / £23.88 Grand Total: £120.58 Now, I don't mind paying these prices and I'm just not interested in ill fitting, poor quality crap for something like this. But It's got me thinking ARP bots can't be much more and they are re-usable which will come in handy in the future at some point. swiftkid 1 Posted March 9, 2012 RAMS, they are conrod bolts. When I was looking for ARP head bolts, the cheapest I could find them for were with Arrow Precision. Just had a look now and they have 2 versions and I don't actually know what the difference is, one is £115 and the other is £200.
