Bonnet release cable

Anyone got a bonnet release cable for sale? I don't specifically need the handle as I have the old one. Also, postage to Glasgow.

Hi mate, I bought a new one from VW last week - was about £40 with all the bits and bobs. All they did not have was the attachment for the 1st bonnet catch on drivers side but I just made my own fitting with a washer so the cable pushed the lever. May be the best bet as a new one will not already be stretched and weakened.

I just bought a release cable yesterday from Barnets VW in St Andrews £42 they still make the cable new but the horns that fix onto the wire are now obsolete. You can buy stainless ones from america but they are about $95 plus shipping. If you havent tried to remove the horns/clamps be very carfull and use plenty of WD40 as the bolt that screws into the horn/cable clamp will be sezied soild and will snap. I am going to have to drill the bolt out of mine and put a new cable clamp on behind the existing horn/clamp. Provided i can actually get it off.
