Pete 0 Posted October 4, 2012 Hi guys looking to trade to an IWC so selling my speedy pro. The first watch worn on the moon. Condition of the crystal is 10/10 Condition of the case is 10/10 Condition of the bracelet is 9/10, but the clasp has some scratches on it due to the amount of computer work I do so it's always against the desk. I have high res images available pm me with an email address for anything specific, but photobucket won't accept them for posting. I have the box, papers etc from when I bought the watch new from Fraser Hart Swansea. Box and papers are in new condition having just sat in a cupboard. Keeps time within chronometer criteria, around +5s daily, so very accurate. Current SRP for the watch is £2880 and I've been offered £1500 in trade against the new watch at Parkhouse Cardiff, so looking for £1750 Ono. Delivery would be possible but I would need to check insurance costs etc, so cash face to face deal would be preferred. I'm in Swansea. Cheers, Pete. Portent 0 Posted October 6, 2012 I love these and always promised myself one. But sadly I don't have the funds right now. One day... Good luck with the sale.
VR6 0 Posted October 6, 2012 Shame it's not smaller, lovely watch.
Tarmyjay 10 Posted October 6, 2012 Hi there What year is the watch? Has it got all the links with it? Thanks
Jim 2 Posted October 6, 2012 Shame it's not smaller, lovely watch. Don't be put off - the Speedmaster wears smaller than it's size would have you believe. I have ridiculously skinny nerd wrists and am able to carry mine off pretty successfully without it looking silly!
VR6 0 Posted October 6, 2012 Yeah I know what you mean Jim. It's just I have a 36mm Seamaster and I think that's about as big as I can go unfortunately. I know it's only an extra ~5mm or so but I imagine it's just a touch too big :(
Pete 0 Posted October 6, 2012 Hi guys, I have the links and everything else. I have chicken wrists at 6.5inch, but they photo above shows how it sits. People have commented on the size as being just right. ---------- Post added at 10:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:27 PM ---------- ---------- Post added at 10:37 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:28 PM ---------- Really tricky to take a picture from a normal angle but hopefully these will help show its size
