Rollcages

Hi folks

 

I'm about to take ownership of a Corrado VR6 that im going to make into a track car.

 

Part of this process includes getting a roll cage fitted to the car.

 

Iv seen the Custom Cages one and it look amazing, defo keen on it.

 

Just wondered if there are any other options available and where Else they can be purchased before I dive in for the custom cages one.

Not sure if you can get a Corrado cage off the shelf as it was, but Safety Devices will custom build one for you. All the big rally and touring car boys use Safety Devices. :)

Where abouts are you?

There will be an FIA approved rollcage maker in your area or at least somewhere not too far fro you.

 

One of the best I've seen at coming up with custom ones is RNJ near silverstone.

I have a cage builder local to me in Falkirk, Central Scotland who is a good friend of mine, so was going to use him if all else fails.

 

emu, that looks like something I could be very interested in.

 

Does the dash need to be modified to fit this? Sunroof need to be removed? Do you have any images of the rest of the cage sections?

Can do a picture but it will be some time next week probably. Dashboard doesn't need to be modified and it looks like that in the back

 

 

I believe sunroof don't need to be changed although my mates car had no sunroof

That's defo an option I could go for that and put some additional bars in as and where I fancy them.

 

How negotiable is the price if I collect it? Where in Aberdeen are you?
