schrick odb2 and odb1 difference?

What is the difference between odb1 and odb2 schrick inlets?

 

I know the TB mounting is different but is the wiring for the controller the same?

So the wiring harness under the scuttle is the same?

 

I am looking at buying a golf vr odb2 but the current golf is odb1

 

just need to sort out a plate for the TB then :)

The only wire needed from the ECU is an rpm signal, which IIRC, is still the thin green/black wire in the ECU harness. Can't remember the pin number. The Schrick controller then just needs power and ground and that's it.
