corrado won't run

ive swaped my 9a's inlet manifold for a kr on earlier today since doing so my car will not start right or tickover either. everything is connect right and im at a loose end and need help asap. tried the 9a tb and the kr one and no difference. dont know if the throtle cable is worng now as i messed with it to get it off. here is how it looks now

any advice welcome need to get it running by tomorrow afternoon.

Just to add aswel. When it does fire up if you rev it it sounds like its missing untill about 3000rpm but wont idle just cuts out

Best way of checking for leaks?? Take pipes off and refit? Look for splits? Anything else?? Driving me mad

There is a large hose under the air feed just after the fuel distributer which fits into a grey valve. It's only a couple of inches long/ inch diameter, and will give your symptoms if disconnected.

Its an air leak problem without a doubt.

 

make sure manifold is sealed and every pipe around is also sealed & connected.

Check the long thin breather hose that is connected to the dual thermostat located underside of throttle body air intake tunnel to the air box. Without this connected the car won't start for sh*t.
