Supercharged 2 Posted February 28, 2013 Welcome to the forum - well worth putting what year and engine you have, especially with technical issues! Also any work / servicing that's been done recently along with the mileage Have you got the text from the original diagnostic? If it's a VR6, it will run approx 30bhp down when the cam sensor is not working
chriskenna 10 Posted February 28, 2013 She's a 95 vr6 123000 miles on the clock, it was my mechanic who checked her, she was serviced about 3000 miles ago I changed the radiator when I put the new camshaft sensor in, an changed the air box back to stock
Supercharged 2 Posted February 28, 2013 Ah ok - wondering if it's a MAF issue then as they don't come up with an error as such - you need to look at the logs in VAGCOM This may have been disturbed (or the wiring to it) when the standard airbox was refitted. chriskenna 10 Posted February 28, 2013 Never thought of that, lol, is it an expensive fix if it is the MAF
