JonnyG60 10 Posted March 16, 2013 Trying to remove the sump on my G60, I have taken out all the bolts including the 2 gearbox end ones. Upon trying to work it off at every conceivable angle, it seems the bottom metal water pipe is in the way. Do people drain coolant and remove this to get the sump off? I've searched around and don't want to start another thread, so is it okay to remove the plastic oil pump baffle and fit a windage tray with the standard sump?
