Can anyone tell me if the yellow temp sender/ Water temp gauge in the cluster responsible for controlling mix/ idling? I have bypassed mine due to a faulty gauge and car is running rich.........Noticed the temp sender plug ahs 4 pins............? Regds, Jason

I don't think this one have anything to do with that no - The blue (2 point) I think does :)

 

The yellow goes to the cluster and to the fan control module AFAIK
