holeinmk1 0 Posted May 21, 2013 Well the time is approaching for the chains on my golf to be done, its presently on 97.5k and ideally i want to do them on 'this' side of 100k. I'm have'nt done timing chains before although i've done plenty of timing belts etc lol. can anyone point me in the direction of a guide/hints/tips etc. fairly happy doing them just want to know if theres any bits to watch out for, other bits worth doing at the same time etc. Also do i need to remove the gearbox? looking at where the chain is it looks like you would have to? any answer would be great.
