Genuine Corrado Electric Half-Leather Recaros - Price Reduced

Recommended Posts

THESE ARE NOW THEORETICALLY SOLD PENDING PICK-UP - IF IT FALLS THROUGH I WILL PUT BACK UP FOR SALE

Full set of Proper Corrado Recaros, in Half Black leather. In very good, useable condition, but not completely mint, I have tried to get pics of any bits that aren't so good, but all pretty minor stuff so difficult to get pictures of.

I know that these can attract frankly ridiculous money sometimes, and being skint, would love to be getting pocketfuls of cash for these, however, I have tried to price them fairly given the condition, and in mind that I could do with them out of the way (If I had the space I would just keep them till I end up with a rado again, as I think they are probably the best seats I have ever had in a car bar none) and so I am after £900.

Originally (I am guessing) from a left hooker, drivers bolsters are in excellent condition, and the passengers side, while leather is all very good, the bolsters are very, very slightly flattened if I am being ultra critical. The cloth centres could probably benefit from a good deep clean, but are certainly not dirty or unusable, I am just again being ultra critical. Anyway, pictures speak a thousand words, so:

Drivers Side:

Overall very good condition, leather in great condition, couple of marks on cloth parts

Small Mark on piping at the furthest section back on bottom cushion:

Mark at very back of bottom cushion where fabric has rubbed:

Bolsters:

Mark on Headrest:

Passengers Side:

Again overall very good condition - As said further up, if being ultra critical, the outer bolsters are a little flattened due to being from a LHD, and there are a couple of tiny marks on the piping on the upper bolster (shown in pics)

Marks on Piping:

Mark on Headrest:

Rears:

Complete with original First Aid kit (which still has all the stuff in it as far as I can see, unopened) and the warning triangle (I haven't taken the triangle out to take pics, as I was worried about putting it back in properly - I have never taken one out before!)

Hump:

Seats:

Note that any marks that show on the leather in the main pics are down to how it was stacked prior to pics, and are not permanent marks

If anyone wants more pictures, let me know, however I would much rather any prospective buyer came to see them and was 100% happy with them before buying (also they would be both very expensive and risky to courier). Also, the seats are at my Dads house in the West Midlands, and I work in Cardiff all week, so would be the weekend before I could get more.

If anyone is interested and is putting them into a car with a none-black interior, I do have a full set of interior for making yours Black, i.e carpet, A,B & C Pillars, Dash and Door cards (although the door cards are not leather) that could be negotiated separately, or will be listed separately when I get a chance. I also removed the wiring loom for the seats - I assume it is actually already installed in all corrados anyway, but if not I have it and the purchaser of the seats is welcome to it if they wish.

It is not up to me what happens to them once they are sold, however I would really like them to go into a corrado, and not have the rears *******ised to fit into a polo or golf etc, as they are such an original, good condition set of seats, hence putting them on here first and (hopefully) pricing them fairly. I would love to keep them, but don't have the space or spare cash at the minute to justify it - I doubt I will be able to get another set anytime soon

They are in Walsall, West Mids for viewing, although I am only there at the weekend, if you could only make weeknights, I can arrange for my brother to show them to you, as he knows his stuff anyway!

Any questions, just shout

Just bumping these back up to the top. Are they a bit pricey?

I am more than open to offers, particularly if people want other bits of Black interior from my breaking thread. I am aware that I am starting to get people asking about individual bits of trim etc, whereas at the minute, I could offer enough stuff to totally change your rado to a black interior if desired!

Space is at a premium at the moment, so a combination of being able to pick up quickly with a slightly lower price would be more attractive to me than holding out for extra money for longer!

Any questions, just shout

Lovely seats and the perfect combination between the look of leather and the comfort of cloth. I believe they were only available in Europe and not the UK.

Too pricey for me right now otherwise I may have considered them.

I assume they are electric movement only and not heated so the loom mentioned is the two wires back to the fuse box and earthing point? For the information for others cars without recaros didn't have this loom so it will need to be added. It's a simple two wire job but not sure if the connectors at the seat end are still available. So a DIY job may be needed if the loom can't be provided.

Superb seats. Good luck with the sale. Tempting though :)

Cheers for the kind words - as long as I am not being ridiculous on price! I agree, absolutely awesome seats, I genuinely wish I could stick them in the loft till another Corrado came my way, but times are hard at the minute!

Again, correct, they are electrical movement, not heated. Good bit of info there - Glad I kept the loom piece (although essentially just a live/earth so not overly complicated, it is nice to have the proper connectors), and it is as you say, VAG connectors at seat end, wires to fuse box and earth.

How tempted - fancy coming to have a look? :p

OK, I could do with these out of the way now to be completely honest - Wish I had the space to keep them, but I don't. Combine that with a need for a cash injection having spent way more than I needed to on a stag do at the weekend, and you can take advantage of a vulnerable ex-rado owner!

Price Drop to £850 (if you could collect this weekend I might be tempted to barter a bit lower when you came to see them ;)

Any questions just shout

Rules me out mate :(

Never mind - Always the way! If I had more time at the minute I would happily have met you half way, but time is seriously short for me at the minute :(

Just a quick (probably relatively unlikely) thought - I am after either a set of 18" 5x112 wheels suitable for an Audi S6 (with tyres preferably) up to about £4-500 value or a Nikon DSLR (probably up to about £3-350 in value)if anyone wanted to do a part-ex

Bump back to the top - Am I really doomed to living with these in my bedroom for the rest of time people!?

As much as they are lovely to look at, I would much rather see them in someones rado than at the foot of my bed! £800 ono still stands for pickup this weekend too

:D

Bump - Still here and open to offers around £800ish

Sorted an SLR now, so not after one anymore, but would still potentially be interested in partial swap for some S6 Suitable wheels

I have been a bit tied up with real life recently and not been on that much, but still have these - £750 takes them now

Mate, if you we're nearer I would take em! Any chance you could hold them until the RR day at stealth at the end of this month? I'm driving down South for that.
