Period HiFi & Cd Changer-JVC KSFX450R

Recommended Posts

An immaculate period HiFi set up. This is coming out of my new VR this next week, as I have my favourite Head Unit to go in. There is the original purchase receipt with the Stereo, also have the Instruction Booklet. The removable fronts Case is also still present.

The unit works exactly as it should and every CD tray loads and plays perfectly. The Changer holds 12 Discs and can be attached to any surface. The Changer unit is attached to the underside of the Parcel Shelf currently. Though it would also go on the back of Rear Seats and above wheel arch in boot space.

If you are looking for a late 90s original look for your car this would set it off nicely. I have been undecided for a couple of weeks whether to keep it in situe or not. Ultimately I have decided to install my usual single CD stereo.

Head Unit is JVC KSFX450R (with RDS and 40Wx4)

CD Changer is JVC CH-X350 (12 Disc)

Its hard to price these period HiFi, but in as new condition it has got to be worth £45 combined for the Head Unit and the Changer. It will be available to collect,or to post with suitable costs, from the 31st of July. It will come with the existing cage and the head unit removable case, instructions also included.

Cheers

Ben

I can say that this item has worked flawlessly since day 1 when my local autoelectrician installed it. (He fitted lots of gear into top footballer's SUVs - e.g. Henrik Larsson, Jackie McNamara)

A great unit - no problems ever with a mixture of original CDs, home-made Cds and cassettes.

Yep I'll take it please Ben, it looks in great condition.

Does it have all the original wiring and connectors on the back of the head unit and does it also come with the cables for the CD autochanger or are you leaving them in the car? It would be good if they came with the system if this is possible.

Many thanks Craigowl, I've been looking for a nice period Hi-Fi for my Storm for a while now.

By the way, who's the pretty lady in your User profile pic.?

Ben I might be able to collect, it's about time I went for a proper drive anyway!

Cheers,

Phil

I had to put something else as my avatar to replace the Corrado gorgeousness, Philstrm250.

The lady is Nancy Ajram - a superstar in Arab entertainment, but unknown to me until I was browsing youtube music one day.

See her in this superb music video. Sorry - no black guys rappin' 'n' grabbin' their crotches to the beat, but we need a bit of well-executed romance back now and again, lol.

Nice video Craigowl, yep I'm now a fan of lovely Nancy! It's different and mellow music, thankfully no crotch grabbing in sight either!
