petemcr 10 Posted September 16, 2013 So after replacing a lot of exhaust parts to try and sort out the noise I've been getting from my engine it's looking like the head gasket may have gone. So I'm going to start to strip down the head with help from a mate who works in a garage, i've got a Bentley manual ready but anyone got any words of advise before I start to get stuck on that will help me not be left with a mess I think I'm going to take a load of pics of everything before hand before I start to remove parts for when I come to put it back together and also back everything that came off one section together and label them up which I hope will make it a lot easier but if anyone has any other tips from expereince it would be great. I figured while I'm taking everything off I may as well start to replace old parts that look tired and also get some powder coating done on everything so it looks more tidy in the engine bay as well.
