Lights on warning buzzer relay number 292

Hi all

Would really like to fit this relay to my Corrado. Fed up of leaving lights on.

Have found a very good write up on http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=163818.0.

Can this be done to my 1992 Corrado G60? Even though I have the relay complete(with base) I would prefer to fit into position 9 on fuseboard.

So what I would like to know are the electrics the same as a golf mk2?

yep, the electrics are basically the same, obviously there are some differences as cars and models are specced differently.

I'd have a poke about with a multimeter to see if those spare relay board positions already have some of the connections you need (ignition switched live, earth) as all four spare on the Golf board are the right pin layout for a standard switching relay.
