MikeVR6 0 Posted November 30, 2013 Not a Corrado related question. More a general car one. My Family wagon (Grand Vitara DDiS) has a buggered intercooler. Suzuki seem to be the sole supplier and are asking €510 for a new one. I've found another broken one on eBay for a tenner. Is it possible to have this re-cored? Any recommendations on where? fonzooorooo 10 Posted December 2, 2013 I'd expect a radiator place would do it. If you can't find one, ask your local motor factors - they tend to know who does what!
MikeVR6 0 Posted December 2, 2013 Not so easy, being in Germany and all. At the weekend I bought a second hand Intercooler on UK eBay. This one also needs a recore and I'm going to get the seller to post it directly to a radiator specialist. Just need to find a specialist now. Any recommendations? fonzooorooo 10 Posted December 2, 2013 I saw your location, but have no real idea how things are over there(!) Anyway... These guys are near me - I've never dealt with them myself, but a neighbour (ex truck mechanic) speaks highly of them: Item name: Heather Radiator Services Street address: 1 Main Street, Heather Postcode: LE67 2QP Town or Suburb: Coalville (Leicestershire) Country or region: Leicestershire GPS coordinates: Telephone(s): 01530 262 494 Fax: 01530 262 494 I can't easily find a website for them ( no surprise - it's a small old fashioned place!) MikeVR6 0 Posted December 2, 2013 I'm sure if I could speak German I'd be able to find somewhere :) Thanks for the details. I'll give them a call tomorrow. I'll post back the results.
