deamon90002004 10 Posted December 5, 2013 hey all, just a random question, i have an audi quattro sitting in my local scrappy, and i nicked the calipers and carriers off the front for my mk2 golf (cos they are the same as the g60), but i was wondering if it was possible to take the quattro guts from the rear? (frame, tank, shafts etc)
Diamond Hell 0 Posted December 16, 2013 Exceedingly unlikely, as the Syncro has the VC in the rear diff. I think you'll find most of it (aside from the calipers and carriers) is totally different!
matasj89 10 Posted December 19, 2013 I thought that quattro gen-1 had viscous coupling as well...
deamon90002004 10 Posted December 19, 2013 i think the quattro is a D reg with a small pannel at the bottom of the dash with diff locks

deamon90002004 10 Posted December 20, 2013 so could it possibly be used for parts?
Diamond Hell 0 Posted December 21, 2013 Not for a Corrado.... except for various nuts and bolts
deamon90002004 10 Posted December 21, 2013 damn it, that would have been a nice mod too :(, instead of "syncro" on the back i could have put "quattro"
