vcl 10 Posted February 10, 2014 Hi there, For many years VW have supplied their plug leads with metal shrouds over the spark plug ends. Can anyone tell me if the shrouds have a definite purpose, like a sort of Farady cage to avoid interference, or just a recognizable trademark. Most other manufacturers seem to manage without them.
