VR6 Gar 10 Posted April 18, 2014 Blew my heater hose earlier so need a replacement. Do people think it would be best to replace with another Samco or go original? This is the one.
sankysvr6 0 Posted April 19, 2014 I thought Samos were an upgrade over the standard ones. Has it blown due to age of the hose, or has it been rubbing somewhere.
VR6 Gar 10 Posted April 19, 2014 Suposedly they are, but I have heard of a few cases of them going after a few years whereas original ones can be ok for a lot longer. This one looks to have gone due to heat despite being covered with heat sheath. It has gone very brittle and part of the thin tube broke off when removing the jubilee clip. Makes me think original may be best, but at 44.05 they aren't cheap.
