andygal 0 Posted April 19, 2014 Hi All, I picked up a 1994 VR6 a couple of days ago. It wouldn't go into 5th gear and just crunches when you try. Sometimes it would go in with a wiggle of the shifter. I changed the gearbox oil today and tried adjusting the shifter (both the left right throw and cable) to no avail. I have even tried manually selecting 5th by lifting the selector on top of the box and turning it left then dipping the clutch but it still just crunches!! Any ideas?
