Micky fletch 10 Posted May 16, 2014 Hi all Can anyone tell me the easiest way to remove my bonnet stay .have had a quick look but only bought one pair of hands with me. Which direction do you twist and do you need to push the rubber grommit out first. Goldie 2 Posted May 16, 2014 You need someone else to hold the bonnet up.. the prop itself if you unclip it and then lean it back toward the windscreen (to the left of the washer bottle), jiggle it and swear at it then it should come out. The rubber grommet thing stays behind.. You need to get it as low down as possible to get it out.. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
