Swapping chip between ECUs

Is it possible to successfully swap mapping chips between early dizzy VR6 ECUs and later coilpack ones?

I would ask Vince at Stealth. In theory yes if both ECUs have chip holders, but as one is coilpack and one dizzy, there's probably other differences that won't go over.

Thanks, Kev. If I come across a decent replacement with a coilpack I'll give Vince a call. He mapped my current one so should be able to say for sure.
