mimjed 0 Posted July 29, 2014 hoping for a definitive answer here.... im fitting 288's from a mk2 fabia vrs. i have everything i need bar the braided hoses. I know everything i need bar the length to have them made up at, standard corrado are 370mm, golf vr6 are 500mm and vrs were 550mm (all total length). I think the 500mm off the golf will be the ones, but im paranoid about being short on full lock....can anybody solve my predicament? cant find bugger all on search about length sadly. Mike Edwards 0 Posted August 13, 2014 Okay… I'm guessing the Fabia's brakes mount differently. Having done a Corrado VR6 280mm to Golf Mk3 288mm conversion, I used the standard Golf hoses.
mimjed 0 Posted August 21, 2014 long time since i did mk3 288's on a corrado, but mounting is the same. seems like banjo bolt is in the same place too. I went with 500mm hoses, they are fine lock to lock. but i would advise going for 510mm to anyone else just for the peace of mind. for reference the banjo bolts are M10x1.5 and bleed nipples are M10x1.0.
