Roger Blassberg 0 Posted September 28, 2014 Has anyone had a standard VR6 leather steering wheel successfully re-covered? The leather on mine is wearing badly at the 3 o'clock position - it hasn't worn right through but bits are coming off of the surface. If anyone can recommend a specialist, please let me know, or if you have a perfect one for sale..........?? Best wishes RB

robrado974 1 Posted September 28, 2014 Hi Roger, I looked into this a while back . It's around £150 to get it as good as new . Have a look online , there are a few companies that do this . I presume as it's nearly worn through , the furniture clinic paint is not an option .
16VG60 1 Posted September 28, 2014 Hi Roger, you could also try Joe Clark at TrimDeluxe in Littlehampton West Sussex. Joe does all our trim work and he is a perfectionist. In the past he has re-trimmed many steering wheels for us in both leather and alcantara. His prices are both competitive and fair, and his work always pleases. You can contact Joe on 07771 630059.
