[email protected] 10 Posted October 23, 2014 Hi all. Got high idle on my VR6. Only got it running a few months ago (barn find). Shen warm it idles at 1100 rpm. Changed ISV, thermostat sensor, plugs and leads. Might change plugs again (old fuel deposits on present ones). Other than that any suggestions welcome. Also looking to change suspension, any recommendations please. Thanks. Great site.
GlosterOx 0 Posted October 23, 2014 I'm not sure of the exact name of it but there is a "bellows" type valve on the throttle body that can be adjusted, maybe a previous owner has tinkered with it to hide an ISV or similar fault? Ian.

Mk3highline 10 Posted November 7, 2014 Have you cleaned the throttle body and checked for broken split breather pipes? I've missed the breather/ vac pipes many times Also throttle cable
[email protected] 10 Posted February 21, 2015 Its just dawned on me that i noticed an oily patch under the car last time i moved it but it didnt feel like oil. So it could be brake/ clutch fluid.
