Andy-H 0 Posted January 4, 2015 Hi All, Having running troubles with the valver where I've had to be recovered back home again today :(. Been checking over the wiring around the dizzy as this has been an issue with it in the past and noticed these seem to be damaged on the hall sender. Do these look like they are fubar to anyone else?? Cheers, Andy
Sean_Jaymo 0 Posted January 4, 2015 The brown wire looks crushed in places. Definitely not going to help!
MZpog 10 Posted January 5, 2015 I'd be inclined to swap the cap/rotor just for piece of mind. I once had the dizzy on my old MGB give me running problems (periodically cutting out when warm, would restart but then finally stopped), it all looked fine but it turned out the rotor was faulty. If you find yourself needing a dizzy, I have an Ebay special that I purchased new (cost about £60) and never fitted. It is however missing it's cap/rotor as I put them on my car.
