Windows/Central locking stopped working

was locking the car and the sunroof and window were half closed when it stopped. now the windows dont work and the central locking doesnt work.

 

sunroof still does tho.

 

any ideas? need the window closed before nightfall :(

check the fuse,but its not in the usual place..i.e the fuse box..its tucked up inside the dash with a relay

sugar - would it affect both windows AND locking?

 

any pointers to where the fuse is?

mine stopped working because the fuse had blown,its a bit of a sod to find,if you look at the top of the fuse box you should spot it,its a single fuse and relay

should add that it did this the other day too but if i locked then unlocked with the key then it worked ok. tried this as well as disconnecting the battery but no joy :(

does this fuse run both? as nether works at all :(

im not sure as my central locking has died on mine completely...have to lock it with the key when i remember :shock:

aye same fuse for both - all sorted now :)

 

thanks for the tip then fuse wasnt easy to get at :)
