Purple Tom 0 Posted March 3, 2015 2001 Audi TT 225 Quattro Here is a 2001 Audi TT 225 Quattro, in silver. The Important Bits: 106k MOT until September 2015 Service history (folder full of receipts and service book) 4 previous keepers 2 keys plus plastic valet key 4 good tyres, the front two almost brand new Black heated leather Bose with CD changer Xenon headlights (with working headlamp washers) Usual TT refinements (climate, MFA, silver pedals etc) Very clean and tidy, mechanically spot on including brand new discs and pads all round, recent cambelt, oil and filters (including Haldex). The bad bits: The volume knob on the stereo seems to have a mind of its own with only three volumes - very quiet, in the middle or very loud. Apparently this is a fault with a chip inside which can be repaired for around ?80 (although you'd probably just upgrade the head unit to a newer one if I'm honest) A couple of minor bodywork blemishes although nothing unsightly or that detract from the overall appearance of the car. The reason for sale: It belonged to a friend of mine who upgraded to a newer Audi and had this sitting unloved for a period of time. She said she wanted to sell it so I bought it and have done the required work to bring it back it up to standard. I'm a big VW/Audi fan and currently have too many other cars to justify keeping this, otherwise I would! Summary: A cracking car, I've done around 500 miles in it and it really does drive nicely. It doesn't use any oil, doesn't smoke at all, pulls very well and I've done several Vagcom scans to confirm that there are no fault codes. I've also switched on the options such as selective door locking and auto locking above 15mph. The headlamp washers actually work (quite unusual for a TT of this vintage!) as I've repaired them, and I've been extremely anal about everything else on the car which I'll tell you about if you come to view it. I hate to say this as it's such a car salesmans thing to say, but the first to see it will buy it (it's true!)
