carrots 1 Posted May 15, 2015 I've just refited my summer wheels bbs rs fakes,I need a 3mm spacer on the fronts because they just touch the caliper otherwise.question is do the spacers affect the handling much as it don't feel as safe at 65-70mph .it's never really been the best at these speeds but it's worse now
Jaques_G60 0 Posted May 15, 2015 Them cheap 3mm spacers or any spacers that aren't hubcentric I have found to be crap. If not fitted 100% central they will give terrible wheel wobble and end up destroying wheel bearings.
carrots 1 Posted May 15, 2015 Can you buy 3mm hubcentric
borachris 0 Posted May 15, 2015 As long as you get the correct centre bore, 57.1mm then a non hubcentric 3mm should be ok, it's the cheap multi fit ones that are crap. Anything over 5mm and you should be using hubcentric ones.

borachris 0 Posted May 15, 2015 What are the ones you have? If they're like these ones they should be fine http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=191233856774 If they are like these ones below I would buy the ones above http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=271178298309
Jaques_G60 0 Posted May 15, 2015 As above. If you have the better spacers that should reduce wheel wobble. If it's still juddering, you may need to get your wheels and tyres balanced correctly.
