Leavon 0 Posted June 23, 2004 Has anybody with diavia air-con ever managed to do the "thermal fuse fan speed fix"? I think I've mentioned this before but my fan only works on 4, I've checking the contacts on the control panel and I'm 99% sure that it's not them so I'm assuming that it's the thermal fuse. I've had lower part of the dash off and the glove box out numeous times but the fan in my car looks nothing like a normal fan and there isn't a resistor pack like I've seen in the photo guide. Looking through the glove box I can see some wires going in to the top of the fan assembly just below the windscreen, they're completely inaccesible but this the only place that I can think the resistor pack could be. Also if it's a different type of fan what are the odds of 2 different units having the same thermal fuse fault? Sorry about the lengthy post but this is really starting to p!ss me off now.
