AngusL 10 Posted September 29, 2015 Hi guys. I have been plagued by intermittent reversing lights. I have traced the problem to the connectors on the rear lights. I have cleaned them up however I find within a few miles they have given up again. I have been contemplating how to fix this without chopping the connectors off and recrimping new connectors on. How does this sound..... I am going to clean up the contact ends and rub a small bit of hot solder on the contact points like tinning copper wire. This will then allow a new contact area that is good and conductive. Will probably work on other connections as well...... I have found that most of the electrical issues on these cars are oxidized contacts so here's hoping..... Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
