Rpmayne 0 Posted June 28, 2004 The engine has been running since the rebuild, sounded lovely, even had that whistle which I never had before. Mechanically I think its sorted. The hydraulic lock was probably down to unburnt fuel cos there was no sparks. I towed it away from the garage who got the hydraulic lock, took it to a local garage and it started there, he drove it into the workshop then it went back to not starting again. Starting to loose it now, want it sorted so I can sell it then get a 16v mkII which is what I should have done to start with. Problem is I'm struggling to find anyone who wants to know. Baring in mind I need to tow it wherever so I'm looking for something local, otherwise Sealth or such would have been called a long time ago. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
