G60 Engine loom advice ?

Almost finished rebuilding the 8v bottom to top and now thinking about doing a cable tidy of the whole engine loom. Thinking down the line of a singular multi core tiwnwall cable that I can run around the engine bay so it's tidy and as little of self wrapping of the loom as possible.

 

Any recommendations on what I could use cable wise or why I shouldn't do this ?

I did this same thing last year, no problem using that type of wire, just buy good quality wire and use the oil proof sheething available off ebay, good quality terminale and you'll be fine.

The only problems i ran into were trying to find some of the more obscure Vw terminals such as the headlamp connectors and fan spade connectors, also some of the big positive feeds into the fusebox were buggers to track down. Wiring suppliers in Derbyshire had almost all the stuff recquired though.
