The Corrado G60 Jet Is a German Special Edition

 

It came with a special interior trim and 4 paint codes

 

Mine is Dark Violet Pearl Effect (dark Violet Perleffekt) with Blackseats with Purple stitching and Purple Door cards and Seat backs.

 

The Jet Model Also came with Estoril 15" Alloys and "Jet" stickers on the Rear quater panels.

 

The other Colours were Blue (limogeblau), Red (Flashrot), and Black (schwarz)

 

Thats the Corrado Jet, but wait till you see the spec list of my G60 Jet now

The following is a translation of the letter sent to German VW Dealerships in forming them of the New Jet Model: -

 

News from Volkswagen

 

‘Corrado Jet’

 

The Volkswagen Corrado is now available in a special

edition: the Corrado ‘Jet’. The exterior features are:

special ‘light metal wheels’ in Design ‘Estoril’ with

‘broad’ tyres of the size 185/55. In the interior

there are special seat covers ‘Jet’. The basic colour

is black, with contrasts in red, blue and purple.

 

Of the same colour are the door and side panel covers

made of artificial leather. The backbench is designed

in the same way, as is the backpart which can be put

forward 1/3 to 2/3.

The sport steering wheel has a diameter of 360 cm.

 

The Corrado Jet has the well known 1.8 l engine with 118

kw (160PS). 5gears are standard, for an extra price you

can order the 4-speed automatic. The Corrodo jet costs

42.720 german marks, or 44.740 with automatic.

Yeah thats my old one alright, not in good shape though, the lad that bought it off the guy i sold it to trashed it :(

i met him as he tried to race me in the VRT...not a good move ha ha! pulled over and had a chat,nice lad but the car seemed to idle poor and have a missfire,body looked a bit tatty and he was on about selling it but i talked him out of it and to get it fixed up! :D

 

First time ive seen a jet,odd ribbed fabric,plastic door trims!

buy all acounts hes not got the engine sorted, last time i spoke to him he'd got all the vacume lines messed up. seemed in a worse state than before the "engine rebuild"
