seanl82 23 Posted April 7, 2016 Do you mean the little handheld ebay jobbies, or Rosstech / VCDS? The handheld scanners are ok but don't give a very thorough breakdown of faults. Rosstech is a licensed distributor of VCDS and is excellent. It'll cost a few hundred pound new, or probably lees than £100 for a used one if you can find one and is well worth the money. Jim Bowen 1 Posted April 8, 2016 I bought the cheap ebay vcds setup for about £15 and couldn't get it to connect, required mucking about with pc settings etc, i gave up and bought the Ross tech and its been great, use it quite a bit on other peoples cars.
