16vMatt 10 Posted May 25, 2016 Evening all, Rather trivial question for an easy task on any other car but apparently there's a special method for VR's. I've picked up all the gear to service my car and have replaced all discs and pads. I'm just wondering how do you remove the spark plugs without the original tool as I don't want to break anything by forcing it. Thanks in advance for any help
robrado974 1 Posted May 25, 2016 It can be done , but you run the risk of damaging the lead when you try and pull it off the plug . The metal part is obviously tight on the plug and access is tight , so the only way without the tool is to pull the lead from the top . I would purchase one from eBay and do it another day . 16vMatt 10 Posted May 25, 2016 Sounds like a plan. Better safe than sorry. I'll get one ordered now thanks for the quick and helpful reply Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
robrado974 1 Posted May 25, 2016 No problem . I think they are around 15.00 delivered ? , better than the cost of new leads .
