Fredi 10 Posted July 24, 2016 Been poking around my 2.0 engine bay searching for the culprit of my lurching corrado. I have found a wooden golf tee wedged into air metering head just in front of the large rubber air intake. I guess someone was trying to plug it. What is meant to be there? What should I do with the hole?
swiftkid 1 Posted July 24, 2016 It's air/fuel mix adjustment, do not mess with it unless you know what your doing! I speak from experience Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
Fredi 10 Posted July 24, 2016 So should there be an air fuel mix screw in there? It is just an empty hole right now.
swiftkid 1 Posted July 24, 2016 There's an Allen key adjustment screw down there. It's just a cap to stop water ingress I suppose Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
Fredi 10 Posted July 24, 2016 Ah so to adjust the mix one would remove the cap and then insert an Allen key down the hole. I can just plug the hole to prevent any water getting in then? http://vwtech.no-ip.info/images/golf/16vcoscrew.jpg This is the hole I mean.
