Windows don't work if on full beam

Hi All,

 

Flashed someone the other day and the stalk clicked, so locked in the full beam position.

 

However after this point the electric windows stopped working, no relay click, nothing.

 

Anyway, yesterday i thought I'd pull on the stalk and click it back to standard beam. Since i did this my windows now work again!

 

So I am wondering what the issue could be here? Are these looms linked? Be great to have some insight to this whilst i'm sorting out the rest of the electrical gremlins.

 

The car does have HID's fitted which i am looking to remove shortly, could these be the issue?
