Starter motor wire and connector

Was removing my starter motor and one of the wires has snapped when removing from the terminal. There are 2 thin black wires feeding into the connector which slots onto the spade connection on the starter. Need the connector with enough wire behind it to splice onto the loom.

I presume this is from a kr engine? If so I think you can push the spade out and just crimp a new connector on

I was thinking that might be an option, just crimp both wires into a new spade?
